 Never Forget

 MSN Avatar

Use the Avatar above today or everyday to remember our fallen.

Today is the 8th anniversary of this tragic day in our history. After watching the news broadcasts and watching the images played again it still tears at my heart.

That day changed our country forever. In the first few weeks after it happened the country united and we were all proud to be americans. American flags were selling out everywhere. Trucks were driving down the street with huge flags mounted in thier beds, it was amazing.

Here we are 8 years later, I look up and down my street and I see 2 flags total and one is mine which has never been taken down. To me this is also a tragedy.

I am not sure that I like the direction this country is moving in and I pray that God does bless this country watches over us and helps us through the tough times we are seeing.

It is my hope that our country can unite again. It would be great to see everyone have that pride in thier country just like they did the days following this tragedy.

Never Forget
